An Illegitimate Government Remains Illegitimate – Every Step of Tyranny Is an Act of Treason

There is currently no legitimate, constitutional government in Bangladesh. The way a group of conspirators under foreign protection seized state power on August 5th is a direct attack on democracy, a grave insult to the Constitution, and a betrayal of the spirit of the Liberation War.

It was a brutal hijacking of the state, where the people’s vote, opinion, or consent had no place.

No matter what plans, announcements, or actions this illegal Yunus regime undertakes, all are illegitimate, unconstitutional, and part of a larger conspiracy against the nation.

The so-called “reform” they claim to bring is nothing but a dangerous deception.

In reality, these “reforms” are a blueprint for the destruction of the state structure.

National security, the economy, the judiciary, and administrative balance are now held hostage in their hands. Their main objective seems to be auctioning off the country’s independence and sovereignty.

The state is now being run at the command of a few puppet rulers serving foreign interests. Every decision they make, every agreement they sign, and every law they pass is against the nation’s interests and sets a deadly trap for future generations.

This illegitimate government is wholly illegal—every one of its steps is illegal, every institution it forms is illegal, and every decision it makes is revocable.

If the people of Bangladesh do not protest now, then in the future, the word “freedom” will exist only in history books. The occupation of the state will become permanent, and the nation will be reduced to a modern-day colony of subjugation.

Now is the time to speak out clearly and firmly: We do not recognize this illegitimate Yunus regime. We declare all of its actions null and void.

Rise for your dignity, Bangladesh. This country was not born to be handed over to foreign puppets.
