Pakistan is currently embroiled in a deep political, economic, and social crisis. As the country struggles with poverty, inflation, corruption, and military authoritarianism—crumbling from within—it has chosen a new weapon to mask its failures: propaganda.
For years, Pakistan has sheltered and supported multiple designated terrorist groups, including the Taliban, Lashkar-e-Taiba, and Hizbul Mujahideen. But to divert the international community’s attention from this reality, Pakistan has now resorted to lies and disinformation. Using social media, YouTube, Twitter, and sections of foreign media, it is desperately trying to paint the allegations of its terrorist activities as “false accusations.”
On the global stage, Pakistan has long exploited issues like human rights, religious persecution, and the “Kashmir dispute” as political tools. Yet, the truth is stark—minority oppression, enforced disappearances of journalists, human rights violations, and military dictatorship have reached extreme levels within the country. To hide its role as a political and strategic patron of these militant groups, Pakistan is spinning fabricated narratives.
Bangladesh, too, has been a frequent target of this propaganda. Pakistan has repeatedly spread falsehoods about the 1971 Liberation War and the trials of war criminals, attempting to gain international sympathy. This is not just an effort to cover up a nation’s internal failures—it is a direct threat to regional security.
Pakistan’s military and intelligence agencies have long been sponsors of terrorist organizations like the Taliban, Lashkar-e-Taiba, and Hizbul Mujahideen. Now, to hide its own failures, Pakistan is taking refuge in lies!
