Who Is the BNP Government Trying to Protect with This Blueprint to Destroy Evidence?
Four members of a family were brutally murdered, and as soon as the investigation began, a mountain of inconsistencies started to emerge. The questions are no longer confined to the pages of the autopsy report. Suspicion is surfacing line by line in the inquest report, the doctors’ information, the morgue attendant’s statements, the collection of evidence, and the police’s repeatedly changing accounts.
Questions that cannot be avoided:
Inquest Report vs. Autopsy Report:
Despite the inquest report clearly stating that Agami Chakraborty’s face was “burned and disfigured” and that a nylon rope had been tightly fastened around her face, how did all traces of burns completely disappear from the post-mortem report?
Biological Samples and the Chain of Custody:
The morgue attendant himself said that he had collected samples, yet the laboratory report showed no samples at all. Did the samples that were supposedly collected actually reach the laboratory? Who will take responsibility for the controversy surrounding samples allegedly left exposed and questions over whether they were properly sealed? Will the entire chain of custody be made public?
Destruction of Evidence and the Administration’s Role:
Water from a motor was reportedly released, washing away evidence, while there are multiple indications of evidence being destroyed and the police repeatedly changing their position. Was this simply investigative negligence, or was there a deliberate attempt to divert the case and protect the principal suspects?
Could evidence have been destroyed and a fabricated narrative constructed on this scale without the direct or indirect support of the administration and the BNP government? Why is there an apparent attempt to shield the perpetrators?
After four innocent lives were brutally taken, is the justice process now being turned into another staged drama?
